Flowing through the valley is the beautiful Leven River, renowned for its trout fishing and a great spot to canoe or kayak.
Nearby is the amazing Gunns Plains Cave. Its wonderful limestone formations include calcite shawls and flow-stones and it also has a glow-worm display. Tours are available daily.
You can also find Tasmania’s largest collection of wildlife at Wings Wildlife Park.
