Seven Sheds is part of Tasmania’s Northern Forage Drive Journey and is centrally located within the Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail region close to Launceston, Devonport and Burnie and en route to Cradle Mountain. Seven Sheds cellar door is also at the centre of the Wild Mersey mountain bike trail network between Latrobe and Sheffield on Tasmania’s North West Coast.
The cellar door offers up to five beers for tasting and by the glass, plus bottled seasonal brews and limited release brewer’s reserves to tantalise the tastebuds. Informative brewery tours are available for those who want to know more about the brewing process. Railton parkrun is less than 500 m away as is the Tasmanian Trail.
Seven Sheds is also handy for visitors returning to the Spirit of Tasmania ferry to buy gifts and supplies for their “I’ve been to Tassie” party. Cellar door samples, tasting paddles, beer by the glass and bottle sales are available from September through to July and food is available on weekends during the warmer months and for groups by arrangement.
Pre-booked brewery tours are available Friday to Sunday.
Nestled along Tasmania’s North-West Coast, where mountains meet the sea, Devonport blends natural beauty with urban charm. With scenic beaches, bushland reserves, plenty of walking and cycling trails, and a variety of cultural attractions, Devonport offers something for everyone. Known for its world-class produce, it serves as the gateway to the Tasting Trail Tasmania and is the perfect base for exploring Cradle Mountain, just 90 km away.
