Our keen group of local residents are on hand at the Sheffield Visitor Information Centre to assist you with all of your Tasmanian travel needs. Specialising in Cradle Mountain, Sheffield, Railton and Wilmot, our comprehensive selection of brochures showcase attractions across the entire state.

A booking desk with dedicated staff at the centre is available to book accommodation, tours and transport for the whole of Tasmania. Free wi-fi is available and a device charging station. A reading nook and book exchange provides the opportunity to brush up on the local history of the Kentish area surrounding Sheffield.

Mural Audio tours are available to hire from the centre, and our volunteers can personalise a walking tour for you around the town of Sheffield.

Our large car park is suitable for RVs, it has water available and an Electric Vehicle Car charger, there are no parking restrictions so you can take your time exploring. Bathrooms, Showers and BBQs are also available for your convenience.
